Lauren Garcia Founder/Lead Esthetician
I became obsessed with skincare from an early age, after discovering my first mask, and turning my slumber parties into spa parties. Over the years I’ve worked in amazing spas, with truly talented people, learning to transform acne into beautiful skin, and the wildest eyebrows into a work of art. Gaining your trust, and helping you feel and look your best, is always my first goal. For me, attention to detail is so important, and I feel personally responsible for you, the work I do, and the impression I leave. Spending over 20 years in this industry, working alongside dermatologists, cosmetic nurses & educators, developing a wealth of knowledge and skill, I knew I wanted to create my own space to provide opportunities for people to receive life-changing skincare, through customized treatments. My passion for skincare finally led to opening my 1st business in 2014, The Fix Berkeley, in Berkeley Ca. which lead to my present venture, Skin Soup. I'm so excited to share my love for skincare, passion for human connection, & contribute towards well-being with the time we have here.
Sherry Isidro Esthetician /Master Brow & Lash Artist
Sherry ‘s esthetic journey began in 2018 at Aveda’s CInta Institute in San Francisco, learning the art of Ayurvedic rituals while simultaneously working as a make-up artist at MAC cosmetics. Graduating with a detailed eye for color & transformation through make-up & holistic approach to skincare, gave her an edge as a new professional. Sherry decided to diversify her skillset & knowledge even further by branching out into different aspects of the beauty industry. After venturing into the world of waxing & hair removal, she quickly excelled in technique & precision becoming a “speed-waxer”, delivering exceptional outcomes with minimal discomfort. After mastering both waxing & a holistic facial practice, she decided to elevate her practice by focusing on the body, & ventured into the medical spa world. Using cryotherapy to stimulate the body’s natural regenerative process, she was able to sharpen her esthetic skills as a cryo-technician, performing cryofacials, localized cryotherapy, LED therapy & body sculpting. After her medical exploration, she was drawn back to the artistry of esthetics & became a specialist in lashes & brows. Sherry has spent the last few years honing the detailed craft of lash lifting, brow laminations, brow & lash tinting using superior tints, brow shaping /waxing & brow rehabs. Her passion in life is to help other's feel most beautiful in their skin and to enhance the beauty that's already there.
Emily Blase Esthetician / Waxing Guru
Emily is a San Francisco bay area born & educated native with over 16 years of professional experience in the esthetics industry. Trained in a wide variety of skin and body care at some of the bay area’s most premier spas & medical practices, she’s spent the past few years honing her waxing techniques & managing one of the East bay’s top wax spas. She’s considered a guru in balancing acts, whether providing a facial or waxing, her flawless technique is what stands out in her practice. Emily is passionate about education & continually developing her skills by staying abreast of the latest developments in skin care and esthetics. Trained in a wide array of skin care specialties allows her the ability to recognize the needs of each individual from the next. Her love for esthetics & attention to detail curates a “perfect therapy” environment whether waxing, enhancing lashes & brows, or creating a customized skin care regimen. Her meticulous methods always result in what best suits each client’s personal style. Clients can attest to Emily’s blend of passion & enthusiasm that creates an experience unlike any other. Katherine is a talented and passionate brow permanent artist who has dedicated her career to the art of beauty and empowering women. With a strong educational background as a graduate of UC Davis in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior, she combines her scientific knowledge with her artistic flair to create stunning and natural-looking brows.
Driven by her love for beauty, she has honed her skills & expertise in the field of brow permanent artistry. Her commitment to excellence is evident in her meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that each client leaves her chair feeling confident & beautiful.
